The King of Bachata

Juan Luis Guerra was born in 1957 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is a singer, writer and producer. He is associated to the Bachata Rhythm even though, Juan Luis likes to incorporate more rhythms to his songs like Rock, Gospel, bolero and merengue. One of his more popular and acclaimed song is "Ojala que llueva cafe" (if only it would rain coffee) which gave him his international fame in 1989. In 1997 he won 'five Latin awards being the first artist to receive the most awards in one night. And "Que me des tu carino" is one of my favorite songs from his album "La llave de mi corazon"(My heart's key)
